Scope of application
The present terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via the L’infuseur website, as well as to all orders placed by telephone, regardless of any clauses that might appear on the documents of the customer.
Customers declare to have read and accepted the provisions of the present terms and conditions. If an event occurs that is not covered by the present terms and conditions, the distance selling rules of the commune of the company’s headquarters shall apply. The present contract is governed by French law.
Orders
L’infuseur agrees to fulfill all orders made by Internet or telephone under the terms of the present terms and conditions, provided all the items of an order are in stock and available at the respective list prices.
By placing an order, the customer declares to have read and accepted the present terms and conditions.
L’infuseur shall not be held liable in the event of potential lacks of stock that can lead to a delay in the delivery of an order.
In the event of a lack of stock, we shall inform you of the amount of time required to obtain the desired product. You will also be authorized to modify or cancel your order. In the event of a cancellation due to a temporary or permanent lack of stock, we shall refund you as quickly as possible.
L’infuseur reserves the right to reject an order for any reason whatsoever, in particular due to a problem with the supply of a product, a problem concerning the placed order, or a foreseeable problem regarding the scheduled delivery.
L’infuseur also reserves the right to cancel all suspicious orders, orders that do not comply with the present terms and conditions, or orders placed by a customer who has filed a claim against L’infuseur.
If a customer wishes to cancel an order, the cancellation request must be sent by email (contact@linfuseur.com) no later than 12 hours after the order was placed by the customer.
After this time, the customer is not entitled to cancel the order, refuse the goods, or claim damages.
Payment
The sale becomes final once the transaction has been validated by the respective secure online payment service.
The data recorded by the payment system serves as proof of the financial transaction.
In order for an order to be recorded, it must be paid in full. Unpaid orders will not be delivered. Failed payments or payment incidents (incorrect bank details, lack of funds in the customer’s account, etc.) will be charged an additional €15.
Products remain the property of L’infuseur until the order is paid in full.
Prices
Unless otherwise specified, prices include taxes and are listed in euros.
Products are subject to French VAT.
The list prices are net prices, and include the price of the products and the costs associated with handling, packaging, and preservation. However, they do not include shipping or delivery.
Shipping and delivery costs vary according to the number of products ordered and the location of the delivery.
Delivery
Once we have received payment for your order, your package will be shipped as quickly as possible. L’infuseur guarantees that all products receive the care that is required to ensure they comply with their description on the website at the time of their purchase.
L’infuseur shall not be held liable in the event of potential lacks of stock that can lead to a delay in the delivery of an order.
The customer agrees to carefully check their order upon delivery, and to immediately notify the carrier in the event of damage or any other issue.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via Colissimo or Chronopost.
- Orders placed Monday to Friday before 12pm will be dispatched the same day.
- Orders placed from Monday to Thursday after 12pm will be dispatched the following day.
- Orders placed from Friday after 12pm to Sunday evening will be dispatched the following Monday.
- Orders placed on public holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.
Please note that shipping times may vary during holiday periods.
Orders are delivered to the delivery address that is entered when the order is placed. We therefore recommend providing as complete and precise of an address as possible. Please let us know in advance if you wish to add certain specifications to your delivery address.
If you entered multiple delivery addresses when placing your order, each address will be invoiced separately.
Mainland France
Shipping is free in mainland France for all Colissimo orders of €60 or more.
For Colissimo orders under €60, €4.90 in shipping fees will apply.
Belgium
Shipping is free in Belgium for all Colissimo Expert orders of €80 or more.
Europe
We use Colissimo to deliver orders in Europe. The customer shall bear the costs of shipping. Costs and delivery times vary according to the destination and the prices set by Colissimo.
United Kingdom
Since Brexit, deliveries have been temporarily suspended to the UK.
Other countries
Given the current health-related circumstances, deliveries are temporarily suspended to the rest of the world.
Outside the European Union, custom charges or import taxes may be added to the price of our products. These extra costs shall be borne by the customer. Customers are therefore responsible for verifying the respective amounts with their local customs office.
Carriage
Customers bear the risk for all carriage, regardless of the shipment method and even if prices are marked CPT (Carriage Paid To).
Right of withdrawal
As per Article L. 121-20-2 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts involving the supply of goods which, due to their nature, are likely to expire or deteriorate quickly or cannot be returned. Similarly, this right does not apply to the supply of clearly personalized goods. For other products or services, the Customer has, as per Article L. 121-16 of the French Consumer Code, fourteen (14) business days from the date of delivery to return the order for an exchange or refund.
Customers bear the costs for returning goods. Products must be returned undamaged in their original packaging, with all accessories, instructions, and documentation.
If a customer exercises their right of withdrawal, the merchant must refund the amount paid by the customer (excluding return shipping costs) within 30 days.

Claims
In the event of a delay in the filing of a claim, the customer is not entitled to cancel the order, refuse the goods, or claim damages.
In the event of a timely claim, the customer shall bear the carriage and other costs (e.g., customs charges) associated with returning the goods to L’infuseur.
Upon delivery, the customer may only report an issue to the carrier if the order does not contain the number of ordered goods, or if the package containing the goods is severely damaged. These remarks must be given to the carrier in writing at the time of the delivery, or no later than four (4) hours after the delivery. A copy of the remarks must be sent to L’infuseur (by email: contact@linfuseur.com) no later than twelve (12) hours after the remarks were made.
No returns will be accepted and no exchanges will be made. If the procedure above is followed correctly, and if it can be proven that the package and the products are badly damaged, then L’infuseur will – at its discretion – either issue a credit voucher, issue a refund, or proceed with a new shipment of similar products.
Liability
All L’infuseur products comply with applicable French legislation. L’infuseur shall not be held liable for any potential non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the products are delivered. Customers are responsible for inquiring with the local authorities about the possibility of importing and using the products or services that they wish to order.
Furthermore, the customer is solely responsible for the choice of products, as well as for their use and storage after delivery. L’infuseur shall in no way be held liable for any damages arising from said use or storage.
L’infuseur guarantees that products are in perfect condition when they are handed over to the carrier. L’infuseur does not provide, either explicitly or implicitly, any other guarantee or warranty. In particular, L’infuseur does not guarantee that products will meet the specific expectations of customers.
L’infuseur shall not be held liable in the event that it is unable to fulfill a contract due to a lack of stock or the unavailability of a product, force majeure, a flood, a fire, or a disruption or strike (total or partial) affecting, in particular, postal and transportation services.
The text and photographs that describe and illustrate the products are not considered binding. As a result, L’infuseur shall not be held liable for any error in said photographs or text.
L’infuseur shall also not be held liable for any indirect damage resulting from the present provisions (operating losses, losses in profit, loss of chance, damages, expenses, etc.).
Furthermore, L’infuseur shall in no way be held liable for any damages whatsoever resulting from an inability to access or use the platform, or for any loss or loss of profits resulting from the information available on the platform, regardless of the cause of the damage.
Similarly, L’infuseur declines all responsibility for any damage of any kind resulting from an illegal intrusion by a third party leading to the modification of the information made available on its website.
Nor shall it be held responsible for any damage whatsoever resulting from the use or interpretation of the information made available on the platform.
In any event, regardless of the reason for the claim against L’infuseur, the liability of L’infuseur shall be limited to the lesser of the following two sums: (i) the amount of the direct loss suffered by the customer; or (ii) the price of the order.
